Jerusalem Stone Pictures

While it seems crazy, many people are importing Jerusalem Stone. Jerusalem stone comes in many shapes and sizes, but it almost always starts life as a boulder seen in the picture below.

Jerusalem Stone Boulders

After the stone from Jerusalem is quarried into large multi-ton boulders workers decide which product that particular stone should be used for. If the stone has great structural integrity then it could be used for building purposes such as in the picture below of a Jerusalem stone building. Pictures are courtesy of Jerusalem Stone Company. You can view additional pictures in their Jerusalem Stone Picture Gallery.

Here is a picture of Jerusalem stone being used for construction of a wall.

Jerusalem Stone Construction

The picture below is a beautiful Jerusalem stone fireplace that is nearly 18 feet tall. Jerusalem Stone is known for it’s strength.

For thousands of years, Jerusalem stone has been used as walls in some of the most magnificent palaces around the world. The Jerusalem stone picture below shows a beautiful palace entrance with marble floors.

Jerusalem Stone Wall

You can see from the picture of Jerusalem stone that it is very strong and can be used in many different applications including barriers.

Outdoor Stone Wall

Jerusalem homes are primarily made from the stone that is mined in Jerusalem and the strong cedars of Lebanon. Jerusalem stone is preferred because it does not rot and degrade that wood. This picture shows thousands of homes in Jerusalem that have used stone walls and flooring.

My favorite picture of Jerusalem stone is definitely this picture. It shows a wonderful staircase leading to the sky. The stairs and walls are both created with Jerusalem stone. The steps and smooth while the walls are rough Jerusalem stone.

Sun Tracker Keeps Plants Full Of Life

The Sun Tracker is a small rotating device (like a lazy susan) that slowly rotates under your potted indoor plant. It will keep your house plant from becoming “lopsided” in the plants quest to reach out to the sun.

The Sun Tracker is only $30 and runs on 3 C batteries.

Here is what the manufacturer has to say, “Sun Tracker automatically rotates your plant in the sun, for beautiful, even, foliage growth.

If a plant gets sun on only one side, the growth of that plant foliage will be uneven. The Sun Tracker platform, however, automatically rotates slowly (choose from two speeds), to make sure the entire plant gets proper sunlight throughout the day. 40-lb. capacity. Three “C” batteries not included. 2” tall, 10-5⁄8” in diameter.”

Keep Pests Out of Your Backyard, the Automated Way!

If you live near a forest, or even near a wooded area, it has happened to you.  Deer.  Ya, they are cute and Bambi’s mom shouldn’t have died in a kids movie, but what do you do when they start eating everything including your flowers and bushes you just bought from Home Depot?

You only have two choices.

1. Kill them.  Not legal in all areas, and not recommended shooting your gun in your backyard.

2. Encourage them to leave.  You can do this “encouraging” with a quick and hard blast of non-lethal water.

AwesomeTools.com has an awesome tool (sorry, lack of creativity) that does just that.  It’s called the Scarecrow Sprinkler and is available for $74.95.

The Scarecrow Sprinkler detects movement then shoots water at that movement.  At AwesomeTools’ website they have a cool video showing the SS in action.

From the image below you can see the after effects of the Sprinkler.
